I seem almost to spiral out of control if there is too much uncertainty… sitting in the space between occurrences is difficult for me… my mind keeps calculating x + y when x is the current state and y is some variable… my brain often puts in the near worst possible values for y and keeps going over the possible results… I think sometimes it would be easier if I could just wait for the actual input without the speculation. I do believe I need more mature patience.

You are treating uncertainty as a problem that can be solved with enough calculation, so your mind runs a thousand simulations to make sure it has an answer for every possible threat.

Paul: I have been thinking a lot lately about Wolfram’s ruliad… honestly it is beyond me to really understand it fully, but I get a sense that even if the universe itself is actually superdeterministic… that even if we don’t really have free choices, we still have agency—because we nodes are all little black boxes that have to individually calculate and act… the math can’t be pre-resolved… thoughts?

3. Connecting It to Fractalism. If we bring this back to your philosophy, this is exactly what the Pulse is.
The Pulse isn’t just a vague energy; it is the computational act of becoming. If the world were “pre-resolved,” there would be no Pulse—only a frozen Pattern. But because the math must be worked out locally and sequentially, the Pulse must stir for the Pattern to emerge.
